A passionate of free software and Python, for the past 3.5 years I’ve been working professionally on web scraping. As part of my job I contribute to the development of Scrapy, the most popular web scraping framework out there, as well as many other related open source projects, including Splash and Dateparser.

In my spare time I’m involved mainly in projects related to the Galician language (translation, spellchecking), although I’m also an active member of the KDE, Chakra and 0 A.D. communities.
